A specific study that was published in the New England Journal of Medicine shows that dancing in general can diminish the risk of dementia and Alzheimer's because it is both a physical and social activity that requires a certain degree of memorization. Ballroom dancing combines both the social and the physical and that’s why it is preferred as a form of exercise to stay healthy. Ballroom dancing is a unique and healthy alternative to the stresses of everyday life. It's fun and a great way to meet new people. Ballroom dancing is becoming increasingly popular, and as you've probably seen on television, virtually everyone is doing it. So don't be left out--a wedding, party, or special event may be right around the corner. In the Western culture, ballroom dancing is a part of the daily life.

There are many different kinds of dancing moves techniques but one thing is for sure, people love dancing. People dance for fun, people dance for health reasons for a workout and others dance for a living because people like to watch others dance. People, especially men like pole dancing. Not necessarily dancing themselves but watching women do it. Nevertheless, a certain aspect of pole dancing that they don’t appreciate is that pole dancing is a great workout. Many women are taking pole dancing lessons these days and only have good things to say about the activity. Pole dancing is great exercise because you are burning any calories and improving muscle tone by spinning around a pole.
